Ingredients
50mls Rockfall Rum
10 mls ginger wine
30 mls ginger beer
20 mls cranberry juice
15 mls freshly squeezed lime juice
10 grams fresh ginger
5 mls honey
Grated nutmeg
Method
First grate the ginger and muddle with the lime juice and honey in a cocktail shaker.
Add the Rockfall, ginger wine and cranberry juice to the mixture and shake.
Sieve into a champagne flute or saucer and top up with ginger beer. Then dust with nutmeg and serve. Try topping up with champagne or Prosecco for an extra special twist. This is the perfect drink to serve as a pre-dinner Christmas cocktail, or why not just because you’ve had a busy day and deserve a celebratory moment or two.
Also over these chilly months add extra ginger if you can feel a runny nose coming on, ginger is a diaphoretic (big word!) which will quite literally help you sweat out that cold. Bonus healthy moment.
